Can I do a Bachelor's degree in nursing after completing lower-secondary level?
A lower-secondary level qualification is not sufficient for admission to a Bachelor's degree course in nursing at a University of Applied Sciences. To study at a university of applied sciences, you need either a four-year Specialized Baccalaureate, a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate or a Baccalaureate. Persons with a higher technical college qualification and an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) can also be admitted if they are related to the subject. This is the case, for example, with the diploma in nursing CHE, druggist CHE, podiatrist CHE or paramedic CHE, as well as with the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Infection Prevention and Hospital Expert.
