Training or continuing education, further training to become a teacher is also possible for career changers who have a different educational background and would now like to enter the teaching profession. Those interested must have completed at least three years of education at upper-secondary level, have a command of German at level C2, have at least 300 percent of professional experience within the last seven years and be at least 30 years old.
