Can I still do medical training as an adult?
You can also start medical training in the form of a medical degree at a later age, provided you meet the admission requirements. It is of course also possible for you to start a conventional apprenticeship as an adult, for example as a healthcare specialist or care specialist. In these areas, as well as for the profession of health and social care assistant, it is also possible to obtain the Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Federal VET Diploma) through a validation procedure after several years of professional experience in the healthcare sector.
