As a Federal VET Diploma food technologist, you have several options for targeted continuing education, further training. For example, you can take Federal Diploma of Higher Education (AFPE) examinations and, building on this, Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) examinations, as well as special courses and seminars offered by vocational and technical colleges. Training at a College of Higher Education is also a possible further training measure, for example by studying to become a certified technician CHE specializing in food technology. With a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, food technologists with a Federal VET Diploma can also begin a Bachelor's degree course at a University of Applied Sciences, such as a Bachelor of Science in food technology, oenology, life technology, biotechnology or related fields.
