You can only become a garden architect or landscape architect after completing a Bachelor's degree at a University of Applied Sciences, where you will receive comprehensive training in landscape planning and can already specialize during your studies. If you would like to work as a garden planner or landscape designer and are unable or unwilling to complete a university degree, you also have the option of training as a gardener Federal VET Diploma and then continuing education, further training to become a head gardener FPE or even a master gardener AFPE as well as specialized courses to include the planning aspects in your work and work as a planner, for example as a specialist in near-natural gardening and landscaping.
