Is additional work experience necessary after the mediamatician training in order to be able to take the Federal Professional Examination?
In order to be able to take the Federal Professional Examination in Mediamatics, at least two years of professional experience in mediamatics is required in the case of an existing Federal VET Diploma as a mediamatician or polygraph.
If you have a vocational, technical or high school diploma, you must have four years of professional experience in ICT, including at least two years in mediamatics.
If you have a different educational background, you must have at least six years of practical experience in ICT, including at least two years in mediamatics.
Note: The Federal Professional Examination was abolished in 2023. Since then, it has been offered under the ICT Application Development Specialist.
