Is it possible to complete the FPE to become an energy consultant with any Federal VET Diploma?

Yes, you will be admitted to the Federal Professional Examination "Energy Consultant for Buildings with Federal Diploma of Higher Education" with any Federal VET Diploma if you have the necessary professional experience and the required module qualifications. The amount of professional experience required depends on your previous education - i.e. also on your Federal VET Diploma:

• Federal VET Diploma in the construction industryAfter the Federal VET Diploma, you must have at least seven years of professional experience in building technology or building envelopes, including at least three years with management experience and/or customer advice
• Federal VET Diploma in another industry: After the Federal VET Diploma, you must have at least ten years of
  have professional experience in building services engineering or building envelopes, including at least three years with management experience and/or customer advice
• Holders ofrelated degreesthehigher vocational trainingorUniversity degreesmust have three years of professional experience in building technology or building envelopes.
