Ist eine Elternausbildung wirklich sinnvoll?
Does parental training really make sense?
Being a parent presents new challenges every day, with newborns as well as with teenagers. The conflicts, fears, worries and problems may be different at each stage of development, but the urgent need of mothers and fathers to get everything right in parenting is usually the same. Parent training can be particularly useful in times of single-family households, in which several generations no longer take on the work of parenting, but often only one parent takes on this demanding task. As well as gaining up-to-date knowledge, you will also get to know yourself better, find out which aspects of daily life with your child/children are particularly important to you, what triggers conflicts and in which situations you simply feel overwhelmed. You will have the opportunity to talk to other like-minded people about your experiences and problems and in this way gain a completely different perspective, develop approaches to solutions and learn methods that will help you to keep a cool head in the often recurring delicate crisis situations of everyday life, to perceive the needs of your child and to be able to make an appropriate decision depending on the situation, to support your child in an age-appropriate way and to achieve more serenity in everyday family life.
