Ist die Ausbildung zur Fachfrau Kinderbetreuung an jeder Schule gleich?

The curriculum that you will follow during your training as a customer care specialist (FaBe) with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET) is regulated in the Federal Ordinance on Vocational Education and Training for Customer Care Specialists and must therefore be followed by all schools. During your school lessons, you will learn everything you need for your professional activity as a customer care specialist in the following subjects:

• Care and support in everyday life
• Cooperation and communication
• People and development
• Organization, quality and working techniques
• Framework conditions, ethics and professional role

These vocational subjects are identical for all subject areas. Some schools also offer specializations for the respective subject areas, such as childcare:

• Communication, general education and language
• Creative arts subjects
• Pedagogy in the early years
• Care and health for children
• English as a foreign language
