Hat man bei einem Sprachkurs in London überhaupt Zeit, die Stadt zu erkunden?

Do you even have time to explore the city on a language course in London?

There are very different types of courses offered by language schools in London, some of which are more or less demanding in terms of time. You can often choose standard courses where you attend between 15 and 20 lessons per week, i.e. between 3 and 4 lessons per day. Depending on the language school, each lesson lasts between 45 and 60 minutes (or 90 minutes in exceptional cases), which means that you will usually attend an English course in the morning and have the afternoon at your leisure. However, language travel to London can also take up a little more time, as is the case with intensive language courses, which often have a duration of 30 weekly lessons. In this case, you will be busy with language lessons in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon, for example from 9 am to 12 noon and again from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. Afterwards, you are free, but you should expect to have some homework to do before you can enjoy your free time. However, the weekend is always free and can be used for excursions and exploring London and the surrounding area. The language school in London often organizes various excursions that you can take part in if you are interested (not always included in the price). Even with intensive courses, you will have enough time to explore London, especially if you are staying for more than a week.
