The new examination regulations for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) for naturopaths have been in force since 2015.
This qualification is the result of a joint initiative by the four sponsoring associations of the recognized training courses in naturopathy, homeopathy, Ayurvedic medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM. These four directions can be chosen as specializations and the degree is awarded accordingly:
Naturopath with a federal diploma in Ayurveda medicine
Naturopath with a federal diploma in homeopathy
Naturopath with a federal diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM
Naturopath with a federal diploma in Traditional European Naturopathy TEN
