There are so-called literacy German courses or courses for illiterates. In these language courses, you first learn to read, pronounce and write individual letters. You then put them together to form words and finally complete sentence structures. In this way, you will have already learned your first German vocabulary and will be able to read, pronounce and write a few words and expressions in German at the end of the course. Following this literacy course, you can join a conventional language course at level A1.
