Gibt es Unterschiede zwischen einem CAs und einem MAS Abschluss in Sozialer Arbeit?

Are there differences between a CAs and an MAS degree in social work?

An MAS (Master of Advanced Studies) is a continuing education program that comprises at least 60 ECTS credits and is made up of several CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) continuing education courses. With an MAS at Universities of Applied Sciences for Social Work, you can choose from various compulsory CASs in addition to compulsory CASs and thus set your own personal focus. An MAS thesis rounds off the course. A CAS gives you at least 10 ECTS credits, often 15 ECTS credits, and can be attended independently of an MAS. So if you want to attend a short continuing education course and do not want to complete a comprehensive continuing education course, CAS or DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies with at least 30 ECTS) are ideal for expanding your specific knowledge in the field of social work, social management, public social services or other specializations in counselling, coaching, social pedagogy and social work.
