Will I receive a certificate after a language course in France?
Almost every language school will issue you with a certificate at the end of a language course, which describes the duration of the course and the language level achieved. However, this certificate is usually only issued to language students who have attended at least 80 percent of the lessons. These certificates, which you receive from language schools in France, are not the same as language diplomas such as the DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française), the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française), the DELf junior for young people or the DELF scolaire for pupils. Nevertheless, it can be cited as proof of language training when applying for a new job, as it demonstrates your commitment and desire for continuing education, further training.
