  • Understanding simple personal letters
  • Use short instructions for use
  • Read easy-to-understand stories from everyday life
• Writing
  • Formulating short notes and messages
  • Writing simple letters with appropriate greetings and thank-you phrases
  • Connect sentences meaningfully with conjunctions such as "and", "but", "because" or "then"
