Braucht es für eine Arbeit als Masseur unbedingt eine BP?
Do you necessarily need a FPE to work as a masseur?
If you want to work as a masseur or masseuse, you do not necessarily need training that prepares you for the Federal Professional Examination (FPE). This continuing education, further training in medical massage is a comprehensive course that provides participants with professional training in reflexology, classic massage, thermotherapy, manual lymphatic drainage, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy and balneotherapy as well as connective tissue massage and other therapies and applications that can be performed on healthy people as well as on injured, sick and disabled people. However, if you only want to perform wellness massages, i.e. massages that contribute to the well-being and relaxation of (healthy) patients, a certificate course in classic massage or acupuncture massage, for example, is also ideal. If you would like a more comprehensive approach and don't just want to learn about a specific therapy, you can opt for training as a professional masseur.
