Do I already need commercial experience for CHE continuing education, further training for business economists?
A basic commercial education is not mandatory for studying business economics at a College of Higher Education to become a certified business economist CHE, but it is an advantage, although they also need at least two years of professional experience in the commercial sector after their apprenticeship. Persons who do not have a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate in Business Administration, a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate or a diploma from a commercial college, but who have a Baccalaureate or have completed another apprenticeship of at least three years, must have at least three years of practical experience in the commercial sector as a condition for admission.
