The following is a prerequisite for the Federal Professional Examination in Hotel Housekeeping:
- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (Federal VET Diploma) in Housekeeping or Hotel Management (Federal VET Diploma) and at least 3 years of professional experience (80%) in hotel housekeeping, including 1 year of management experience (80%).
or
- another Federal VET Diploma and proof of performance in the three basic housekeeping subjects (cleaning, laundry, catering) and at least 4 years of professional experience (80%) in the hotel housekeeping sector, including 1 year of management experience (80%)
In addition to the above conditions:
- Required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence
- Completion of the training course for vocational trainers
