Do I need professional experience after my apprenticeship for continuing education, further training as a technician TS?
Not all specializations within the Techniker TS / Technikerin TS, now Techniker CHE / Technikerin CHE training, require professional experience after completing upper-secondary level, but depending on the specialization, relevant professional qualifications are required. Please enquire directly with the relevant schools about the exact admission requirements for the individual courses.
Note: Since fall 2022, the CHE technician training courses (formerly "CHE technician specialization") have had their own framework curriculum and a new title for each specialization.
