In order to be able to take the CompTIA Network+ course and exam, basic knowledge is required, which you can either acquire in a previous course or certify with the A+ certificate. If you have sufficient prior knowledge, even without a course certificate or certificate, most schools also offer an assessment test as an aptitude test.
