There are several different course models that you can choose from for your online English course. Each language school has developed its own personal concept, so you will first have to find the right one for you. On the one hand, there are online language courses where you are provided with teaching material that you can work on whenever you feel like it. Then there are courses where you do the same but also take part in individual or group lessons, usually via a webcam. These lessons either take place at regular times (approximately every hour), which you can attend if you wish and choose freely. Or the online English course takes place at fixed times (e.g. Monday 6.30 to 8.00 p.m.), in which all participants should actively participate so as not to miss anything.

You also have the option of either deciding on a day or time yourself before the course starts (usually only possible for one-to-one lessons) or setting your own dates for each individual lesson, which gives you a great deal of flexibility. You should decide for yourself which of these options is best for you and will increase your learning success. If you already know that you will certainly not be online at home or elsewhere at the same time every week, an English online course with fixed times is certainly not ideal for you. You should therefore always consider which online English course model best suits your personal needs.
