Bachelor of Engineering Studium – was gibt es für Unterschiede?
Bachelor of Engineering studies - what are the differences?
There is a difference in the degree - between Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) and Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.). While the title Bachelor of Engineering is awarded at universities of applied sciences for engineering courses, universities generally award the degree Bachelor of Science for the same course. There is a further difference between the single-subject and dual-subject Bachelor's degree. Depending on the university or college offering, you can choose between a single-subject Bachelor's degree (major subject - usually fixed modules and compulsory elective modules) or a dual-subject Bachelor's degree (major subject + minor subject). However, regardless of the subject specialization, at least 180 European Credit Transfer Points (ECTS) must be achieved in all modules, including the Bachelor's thesis, at the end of the course.
