An welche Zielgruppe richten sich die Bildungsangebote?
Which target group are the educational programs aimed at?
There are courses that require no prior knowledge and that anyone can take part in. However, this is often not the case, especially in the area of continuing education, further training. The higher the desired qualification, the higher the requirements for participants, both in terms of previous schooling and practical experience. The admission requirements are particularly strict for continuing education, which culminates in a federal examination, be it a Federal Professional Examination, an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) or a diploma from a College of Higher Education.
In the case of university courses, this is sometimes even stricter and is usually aimed exclusively at people who have a Baccalaureate or already have a diploma from a College of Higher Education. The target group for certificate courses is somewhat broader. Such courses are ideal for those interested in education who want to gain a brief insight into a specific subject area such as marketing, IT or law. Seminars are ideal for expanding and deepening existing knowledge or training social skills. These can be sales training, courses on business administration, conflict management or leadership, for example.
