TheGerman Journalist Academyis an independent and private school of journalism that offers its participants a sound education. The distance-learning courses place particular emphasis on teaching the technical and methodological skills required for the profession. For this reason, they have a practical structure and are tailored to current requirements.

Offer

The undergraduate journalism course teaches the journalistic tools of the trade and puts them into practice. No prior knowledge of journalism is required for this journalism course. The course will100% onlinecompleted. The video and script-based learning content can be accessed around the clock from any location; printed study materials are available on request. Virtual meetings take place in webinars or online seminars. Examinations and practical workshops also take place online in the Learning Management System.

You put together the content of the course individually according to your own learning focus and interests. You choose16 modulesfrom our wide range of courses. The course ends with a final project in the form of a report.

Admission requirements:

A-levels or a degree from a general education school that qualifies you to study; a completed university degree or completed vocational training followed by three years of professional experience. If you do not have any of the above qualifications, you can be admitted if you complete a traineeship parallel to the course or can provide evidence of at least five years of relevant professional experience in the media sector.

The distance learning program of the German Academy of Journalism starts monthly, except on January 1st of each year.
