Questions and answers

Ein MAS in Web4Business setzt in der Regel ein bereits abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium voraus. Jedoch können HF-Absolventen und -Absolventinnen sowie Inhaber/innen eines HFP-Diploms zum Studium zugelassen werden, sofern sie über ausreichend qualifizierte Berufserfahrung verfügen. Die Zulassung für HF- und HFP-Diplominhaber erfolgt „sur dossier“ durch die Studienleitung.

Bei dem Bildungsangebot in Web4Business handelt es sich nicht um einen Bachelor- oder konsekutiven (aufbauenden) Masterstudiengang, sondern um einen Masterstudiengang mit Abschluss Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) auf Nachdiplomstufe, der etwa dem Nachdiplomstudium NDS entspricht. Das Masterstudium wird als Fernstudium durchgeführt mit 80 Prozent Selbststudium und 20% Präsenzzeit.

Zielpublikum des Weiterbildungsstudiums in Web4Business sind IT-Mitarbeitende, die sich über rechtliche Fragen informieren möchten, angehende Webentwickler, die sich vertieft mit dem Web Engineering befassen wollen, bereits etablierte Webentwickler und Webmaster, die eine Spezialisierung in Design und Usability anstreben, (angehende) IT-Verantwortliche und Data Scientists.

Der MAS in Web4Business richtet sich an Unternehmensverantwortliche und Mitarbeitende, die sich mit den neusten Web-Technologien betraut machen möchten, um eine Digitalisierung der Geschäftsmodelle voranzutreiben, Werbeauftritte zu professionalisieren, eine Organisation der Unternehmensdaten und -prozesse in der Cloud zu implementieren und dabei die IT Sicherheit zu jeder Zeit zu gewähren.

Zur Erreichung des MAS-Abschlusses in Web4Business sind CAS im Umfang von mindestens 50 ETCS zu belegen. Die fehlenden 10 ECTS werden mit der Masterthesis erreicht. Zur Auswahl für die zu belegenden CAS stehen etwa: Web Engineering, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Datenanalyse, Web- und Informationsdesign, Web Usability, IT & Law, Data Science, IT Security, Statistische Datenanalyse und Datenvisualisierung und Leadership.
