Heating technician: further training makes it possible

The heating technician usually works in an engineering office or a construction company. There they usually take on the role of project manager, head of department or even managing director. In addition to their technical knowledge of heating systems, heating technicians also have a lot to do with business management issues. In order to acquire such knowledge, appropriate training or further training is almost essential.

Questions and answers

Als Weiterbildungen zum Techniker Heizung stehen Ihnen als Heizungsmonteur Kurse zum Servicemonteur Heizung sowie auch Vorbereitungslehrgänge auf die eidgenössische Berufsprüfung (BP) Chefmonteur/in Heizung mit eidg. Fachausweis offen.

Ein Kurs zum Techniker Heizung respektive Servicemonteur Heizung umfasst eine Woche Ausbildungsdauer.

Etwa 1.5 Jahre dauert die Weiterbildung zur Berufsprüfung Chefmonteur Heizung mit eidg. Fachausweis (entspricht Techniker/in Heizung), die modular gegliedert ist in Ausbildungsblöcke von jeweils zwei bis drei Wochen. Hinzu kommt ein freiwilliger Vorkurs mit zwei Wochen Dauer.

Die Ausbildung für die Berufsprüfung zum Techniker Heizung (Chefmonteur/in Heizung mit eidg. Fachausweis) ist modular aufgebaut und besteht aus berufskundlichen Modulen wie Wärmelehre Bautechnik, Messen, Steuern, Regeln (MSR1), Hydraulik 1, Gebäudetechnik und Fachrechnen, aus praktischen Arbeiten mit den Themen Schweisstechnik, sowie Rohrinstallation, aus Modulen zur Auftragsabwicklung, Fachzeichnen, Heiztechnik, Rechtsgrundlagen, Personalführung sowie Kalkulation. Auch ein Berufsbildnerkurs ist Teil dieser Weiterbildung. Für die Zulassung zur Berufsprüfung Techniker Heizung resp. Chefmonteur Heizung sind alle erforderlichen Modulabschlüsse sowie ein Lehrabschluss als Heizungsinstallateur/in EFZ mit mindestens zwei Jahren Berufserfahrung in der Heizungs-Branche nach Lehrabschluss oder mindestens vier Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Heizungs-Branche nach Lehrabschluss mit einem verwandten EFZ-Abschluss vorzuweisen.
