Itinerary

If you want to go on a language study trip to Monaco, you usually book flights to and from Nice. The cost here is around 100 to 200 francs and the journey takes just over an hour.

Various means of transportation can be used between Nice and Monaco. The distance between the two cities of 20 kilometers takes about 40 minutes by rental car. The train takes around 20 minutes from Nice to Monte Carlo, which is much quicker and also very cheap, with a ticket costing just € 3.50. Buses also cover the route and cost € 1.50 per journey. Testimonials on the Internet show that the train is preferable. However, you can also get to Monaco from Nice by sea. A boat trip costs around € 40 and takes about two hours.
