I had had enough of sitting at a school desk after high school and so I took a gap year. As I finally wanted to learn English properly, I decided to fill the last few months of my gap year with a language study trip.
I was in Bournemouth on the south coast of England. Bournemouth has a beautiful beach and an attractive entertainment program. The town is very popular with language students.
In fall 2016 for 10 weeks.
My time in England was very instructive and exciting for me. I particularly liked the fact that you get to know people from all over the world and come into contact with many different cultures.
On the one hand, I made many friends from different countries during my language study trip to England, and on the other, I was able to improve my English significantly and now feel confident in this language. I was also able to confirm my English skills by completing the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English).
Be open, take the opportunity to get to know people from completely different countries and cultures and don't spend too much time with your fellow countrymen, as you won't have the same learning success as if you speak the foreign language in your free time.
Westbourne Academy.
I was very happy with my Westbourne Academy agency. They were very accommodating and uncomplicated, e.g. when I had my flight canceled at short notice so that I could cycle home instead of taking the plane.
