Efficient workflows and processes are required for commercial tasks close to the production of technical goods in industry. The technical administrator coordinates at the interface between production and administration in order to provide expert support for established processes and new projects. The technical clerk course takes 2 semesters and at least 188 lessons. Prospective students can train to become a technical clerk while working. Each module is completed with a module examination at the end. An internal final examination is carried out as a trial run before the external examination to become a technical clerk by edupool.ch as examination training. This is confirmed with an internal school certificate upon successful completion. The external examination is conducted by edupool and the diploma issued for it, which is recognized throughout Switzerland, is co-signed by Swissmem and the Swiss Commercial Association.
