Markom admission test - the optimal basis for your career

Are you aiming for a professional career in one of the following areas and would you like to acquire a corresponding federal certificate in the future?

  • Marketing
  • Sale

  • Public Relations

Then the MarKom entrance exam is the ideal springboard to a successful academic and later professional career.

In addition to the most important and well-founded basic knowledge in the above-mentioned areas, the main business subjects, i.e. business administration, economics, accounting and law, are also covered in detail during the preparatory course. This basic knowledge is a prerequisite for the federal professional examinations for copywriters, marketing specialists, sales specialists, PR specialists, communication planners or related professions. The MarKom entrance examination therefore prepares students for the above-mentioned professional examinations, but is no longer a mandatory admission requirement from the 2019 examination year. In addition, the course offers participants who are still undecided the opportunity to get to know the individual specialist areas in more detail and thus provides a sound basis for making a decision when choosing the right future career field.

Questions and answers

Sollten Sie die MarKom Zulassungsprüfung resp. die MarKom Zertifikatsprüfung MZP nicht beim ersten Mal bestehen, so können Sie diese nach einer erneuten Anmeldung wiederholen, allerdings erst zum nächsten Prüfungstermin (zweimal jährlich). Bei jeder Anmeldung und Teilnahme an einer Prüfung oder Wiederholungsprüfung sind die Prüfungsgebühren im vollen Umfang zu entrichten.

Während des Vorbereitungskurses zur MarKom Zulassungsprüfung wird Ihnen das für die Prüfung notwendige Wissen vermittelt, das Sie ausserhalb des Unterrichts repetieren und verinnerlichen müssen. Dazu ist ein Zeitaufwand von etwa vier Stunden wöchentlich zuzüglich des Unterrichts einzuberechnen, wobei dies selbstverständlich bei einem Teilnehmer mehr, bei einem anderen weniger sein kann. Aufarbeitung und Vorbereitung auf den Unterricht sind jedoch unumgänglich.

Bis zum Prüfungsjahr 2018 ist die MarKom Zulassungsprüfung für eine Zulassung zu folgenden Berufsprüfungen (BP) obligatorisch:

  • PR-Fachleute
  • Verkaufsfachleute
  • Marketingfachleute
  • Kommunikationsplaner / Kommunikationsplanerin
  • Texter / Texterin

Ab dem Prüfungsjahr 2019 müssen Teilnehmende der einzelnen Berufsprüfungen nicht zwingend mehr Inhaber/innen eines MarKom Zertifikats sein.
