Questions and answers

Beim Luftfahrt Studium mit Bachelorabschluss kann zwischen den Schwerpunkten „Operational Engineering“ sowie „Technical Engineering“ und „Verkehrspilot / Verkehrspilotin“ gewählt werden.

Nach einem Luftfahrt Studium mit Bachelorabschluss kann ein Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) als weiterführender Studiengang gewählt werden.

In der Schweiz können Absolventen und Absolventinnen eines Luftfahrt Studiums den Abschluss „Bachelor of Science (FH) in Aviatik“ erlangen. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit eines dualen Abschlusses mit zusätzlicher Lizenzausbildung zum Verkehrspiloten / zur Verkehrspilotin.

In der Flugsicherung, bei Fluggesellschaften, bei Flugzeugherstellern und Zulieferern, an Flughäfen und bei Behörden, im Transportwesen, bei der Luftwache, bei Versicherungen und Banken finden Absolventen und Absolventinnen eines Luftfahrt Studiums eine Anstellung. Je nach gewählter Vertiefung im Bereich Operation, Planung oder Technik.

Das komplette Luftfahrt Studium (Aviatik Bachelor) umfasst 180 Credits, die sich auf das Studium Generale, Projektschiene / Praktische Arbeiten, fachspezifische Grundlagen und Schwerpunkte Aviatik sowie mathematisch-naturwissenschaftliche Grundlagen verteilen. So sind etwa die Module „Aviation Law“, „Principles of Flights“, „IT-Application“, „Transportation Law“, „Aviation Basics“ sowie „IT-Programming“, Electrics and Electronics“, „Infrastructure in Aviation“, „Aircraft Systems“, „Meterology for Aviation and Engineers“, „Safety Risk Management – Quality Management“, „Business Process Engineering“ sowie „Business Administration fort he Aviation Industry“ zu belegen. Hinzu kommen Math for Aviation Linear Algebra und Analysis jeweils 1 und 2, Math for Aviation Applied Numerics sowie Applied Statistics, Chemistry and Materials for Aviation 1 und 2 sowie diverse Wahlpflichtmodule. Auch Englisch für die aeronautische Kommunikation, Präsentationstechnik, Projektmanagement, Systems Engineering sowie wissenschaftliches Schreiben gehören als Module zum Aviatik Bachelorstudium, ebenso wie intercultural Communication and Management, Human-Technology-Environment sowie eine Projektarbeit und eine Bachelorarbeit. Über die genauen Module und ihre einzelnen Inhalte informiert Sie die Hochschule.

Zum Luftfahrt Studium werden auch Inhaber/innen einer Fachmatura prüfungsfrei zugelassen, sofern sie die Fachmaturität in einem der Studienrichtung ähnlichen Profil oder bei fachfremder Berufsrichtung mindestens ein Jahr Arbeitswelterfahrung in einem verwandten Bereich verfügen.
