Was brauche ich für eine Labordiagnostik-Ausbildung an einer Fachhochschule?

Es gibt viele Wege, um eine Ausbildung im Bereich Labordiagnostik absolvieren zu können. Auf Stufe Fachhochschule (FH) sieht dies beispielsweise folgendermassen aus: Wenn Sie über eine Berufslehre (EFZ) und eine Berufsmaturität in einem der Labordiagnostik verwandten Berufsfelder verfügen (zum Beispiel Fachangestellte Gesundheit, Praxisassistentin, Dentalassistent, Drogist, Laborantin oder Pharmaassistentin) können Sie an einer Fachhochschule ohne Prüfung und weiterer Arbeitserfahrung ein Studium beginnen. Wenn Sie über eine Lehre und eine Berufsmaturität in einem fachfremden Beruf verfügen, dann müssen Sie zuerst in einem der Studienrichtung verwandten Berufsfeld eine einjährige Arbeitswelterfahrung sammeln. Interessierte mit einer gymnasialen Maturität oder einer Fachmaturität müssen ebenfalls zuerst eine einjährige Arbeitswelterfahrung in einem der Studienrichtung verwandten Berufsfeld absolvieren. An dieser Stelle ist zu erwähnen, dass es ebenfalls möglich ist berufsfeldbezogene Praktika anzurechnen. Was kann ich später mit einer Labordiagnostik-Ausbildung machen?

Mit einer Ausbildung im Bereich Labordiagnostik sind Sie meistens in medizinischen Laboratorien tätig. Dort arbeiten Sie zum Zweck der Prognostik, Diagnostik, Prävention und Therapie von Krankheiten. Sie können aber auch zum Beispiel in der biomedizinischen Forschung oder in einer beratenden Funktion tätig sein. So helfen Sie Gesundheitsfachpersonen beispielsweise bei der Interpretation von Testergebnissen.

If you have a vocational apprenticeship (EFZ) and a vocational baccalaureate in a field related to laboratory diagnostics (e.g. healthcare assistant, practice assistant, dental assistant, druggist, laboratory assistant or pharmaceutical assistant), you can start studying at a university of applied sciences without an examination and further work experience.
If you have an apprenticeship and a vocational baccalaureate in a non-specialist profession, you must first gain one year's work experience in a professional field related to the field of study.
Prospective students with a baccalaureate or a specialized baccalaureate must also first complete a one-year work experience in a professional field related to the field of study.
