In the CAS IT & Law, participants acquire important know-how about legal issues in IT. The CAS IT & Law (FH) is divided into three modules and, in addition to content relating to IT law, also teaches very practical know-how, e.g. regarding the purchase and rental of hardware, data transfer or license agreements for software programs. Another very important focus is data protection. A company is dependent on its data being stored legally and securely and being accessible at all times. Graduates of the CAS IT Law are familiar with the legal basis for handling data in Switzerland and abroad and are considered experts in records management. They are familiar with national and international data protection guidelines and know how to react correctly in the event of cybercrime such as hacking, skimming, etc.
