Entering the digital world and using ICT devices

While many people operate every screen and every new gadget with dreamlike confidence, others hardly dare to switch on a device or don't even know why.

A lack of knowledge in dealing with computers and the like is not something that has to be a burden. If you want, you can also learn the very basics in courses.

There are introductory courses on the use of computers, tablets and smartphones for various user groups, tailored for example as evening courses for working people or as private courses for senior citizens who want to learn how to use a tablet to not only make phone calls to their grandchildren, but also see them.

The introductory topics include, for example:

  • Using computers and mobile devices: Getting to know user interfaces, operating methods and apps (programs)
  • communicate with video and sound via Skype, Facetime and other apps
  • Open and manage files (e.g. save and sort sent photos)
  • search for information on the Internet (e.g. read a newspaper)
  • Sending and receiving e-mails
