Wer die ICT Smart User SIZ Prüfung erfolgreich bestanden hat, der kann bei Interesse, darauf aufbauend das Diplom ICT Power-User SIZ anschliessen. Dieses Diplom kann mit drei unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten gewählt werden: Web, Office und Systems & Network.

The SIZ user learns the following:

• Basic education - User 1
  • Setting up a workstation, dealing with the Internet and electronic mail, security and file organization.
  • The preparation of information into an effective presentation and the design of the same.
  • Basics of document design for the purpose of creating written work and simple calculations using spreadsheets.

• Advanced - User 2
  • Setting up a workstation, dealing with the Internet and electronic mail, security and file organization.
  • The preparation of information into an effective presentation and the design of the same.
  • Document design and handling of texts for the purpose of creating project work, theses and correspondence.
  • Calculations using spreadsheets and dealing with data in the private and grammar school environment.

Die Dauer des Lehrgangs für die ICT Smart User SIZ Prüfung kann je nach gewählter Schule und Ausbildungsmodell unterschiedlich ausfallen. Mindestens 40 Lektionen werden in der Regel unterrichtet, wobei einige Anbieter gar knapp 90 Lektionen für die Ausbildung bereitstellen. So kann die Dauer des Kurses auch einen sehr verschiedenen Umfang aufweisen, von etwa zwei Monate bis knapp zu einem halben Jahr.

The SIZ IT User course is suitable for people who already have basic knowledge of Windows and the Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The SIZ diploma is ideal for apprentices or high school graduates in the areas of KV, WMS or HMS who want to improve their chances on the job market and acquire the necessary ICT knowledge for subsequent training. The course is also ideal for anyone who wants to use Office programs, the Microsoft operating system and the cloud efficiently at work or at home.
