In everyday business life, it is usually non-lawyers who negotiate, draft and conclude contracts. This raises numerous questions relating to company and commercial law. This task therefore requires in-depth knowledge of the legal principles and contract law. In addition, managers should always be familiar with the associated rules and risks. The CAS Contract & Trade Law (FH) program is part of the MAS Business Law (FH) and was designed specifically for non-lawyers. In this continuing education program, participants learn to approach complex legal issues in the area of contract and trade law competently and professionally. They are equipped with the necessary tools to analyze legal problems in this area and learn how to recognize legal issues and assess risks. As a result, graduates of the course are also able to develop and present their own proposed solutions - including specially drafted contracts. In the course of the CAS, participants receive a sound overview of all relevant legal topics such as contract law, company law and commercial law. In addition to theory, the course also consists of practical modules on drafting contracts. The knowledge gained can therefore be transferred 1:1 into practice and will soon enable all participants to draft and edit sophisticated contractual clauses and contracts independently.

Bei dem Zertifikatslehrgang in Handelsrecht handelt es sich um einen Fernfachlehrgang einer anerkannten Fernfachhochschule, der mit der Blended Learning Methode durchgeführt wird. Diese Methode besteht in diesem Fall aus 80 Prozent begleitetem Selbststudium mit Zugang zur Online-Plattform und andere E-Learning Komponenten und lediglich zu 20 Prozent aus Präsenzunterricht. Auf diese Weise lässt sich das Fernstudium sehr gut mit dem Beruf oder der Familie kombinieren.

Der Zertifikatslehrgang CAS Contract & Trade Law setzt sich aus drei Modulen zusammen, die jeweils 5 ECTS einbringen. So beginnt das CAS mit einer Einführung in das Recht und einer anschliessenden Vermittlung der Vertragsrechts-Grundlagen. Anschliessend wird die praktische Vertragsgestaltung erlernt, und im Modul „Handelsrecht“ mehr über die Gesellschaftsformen des Gesellschaftsrechts in der Schweiz erfahren. Auch das Sanierungs- und Konkursrecht sind Teil des CAS, ebenso die Unternehmernachfolge.

Das CAS in Handelsrecht umfasst 15 ECTS und erstreckt sich über die Dauer von einem Semester.

Das Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS Contract & Trade Law richtet sich an Nichtjuristen die sich mit dem Handelsrecht und dem Vertragsrecht eingehend befassen möchten, um selbständige Vertragswerke gestalten zu können, Rechtsprobleme zu analysieren und Lösungsvorschläge präsentieren zu können.

Bei dem Bildungsangebot in Handelsrecht handelt es sich um ein Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Contract & Trade Law, einem Weiterbildungslehrgang auf Hochschulebene, der Teil eines Masterstudiengangs ist und im Blended-Learning absolviert wird.
