Early education training: Overview of schools and offers

Early remedial education is an early intervention for children (from birth to approx. 8 years) who show abnormalities in their development. These developmental difficulties can occur in one or more of the following areas:

• Mental development
• Language
• Motor skills
• Emotional behavior
• Social behavior
• Development of perception

After a thorough assessment by early childhood educators, the children receive preventative and therapeutic support and care in the family context. The child's well-being always comes first.

The course is completed over six semesters while working and has a modular structure. Each module is completed with a certificate of achievement. The Master's thesis is written during the last semester. During the course, graduates learn how to professionally support, care for and advise affected children and families. They gain well-founded skills in the field of curative early education, which ensure optimal diagnostics, support and evaluation.
