For 30 years, the School of Engineering in Sion has been training engineers with different profiles who are able to carry out and manage innovative projects. The School of Engineering offers three degree programs: Life Technologies, Systems Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering and Computer Science and Communication Systems.

The Bachelor's degree course in Energy and Environmental Engineering lasts 3 years. Future engineers acquire the technical knowledge and know-how to carry out projects, understand models and implement methods from the energy sector in an environmentally friendly way. This course comprises five specializations, two of which are offered in Valais:
- Renewable energies
- Smart Grid (production, transportation and distribution of electrical energy)
- Industrial heating technology (heig-vd)
- Building energy technology (heig-vd)
- Thermotronics (heig-vd)
Strengths: Practice-oriented studies thanks to close cooperation with recognized companies, multilingualism, full-time, part-time and part-time study options.
