The purchasing assistant oversees the purchase of machines and raw materials and takes responsibility for the cost-effective, scheduled delivery of these. He/she is familiar with the market and works closely with other areas in the company, such as development, logistics and production. The purchasing assistant monitors the dates, quantities and prices of deliveries and coordinates stock management and storage with the goods logistics department.

Requirements

Business and technical interests, negotiating skills, assertiveness, organizational talent, foreign language skills.

Education

Basic technical or commercial training and further training in a complementary field. Higher professional examination as a purchasing assistant.

Questions and answers

Der Lehrgang zum Einkaufsassistenten / zur Einkaufsassistentin kann sowohl als Tageskurs, als auch als Abendkurs absolviert werden, so dass Sie je nach Ihren Arbeitszeiten die Lehrveranstaltungen so wählen können, dass Sie weiterhin in Vollzeit oder Teilzeit berufstätig bleiben können.

Eine Berufsgrundbildung (Lehre) als Detailhandelskauffrau / Detailhandelskaufmann ist nicht erforderlich, um die Ausbildung zum Einkaufsassistenten / zur Einkaufsassistentin besuchen zu können. Ein Lehrabschluss auch in einer anderen Branche ist möglich.

Lehrgänge, die Sie als Einkaufsassistent / Einkaufsassistentin respektive Sachbearbeiter/in Einkauf ausbilden, haben meist eine überschaubare Dauer von zweieinhalb Monaten bis zu einem halben Jahr.

Erfahrung im Einkauf ist für die Weiterbildung zum Einkaufsassistenten / zur Einkaufsassistentin (Sachbearbeiter/in Einkauf und Beschaffung) von Vorteil, jedoch nicht Voraussetzung, da der Kurs grundlegendes Basiswissen des Supply Chain Managements vermittelt und daher auch für Einkaufsneulinge bestens geeignet ist.

Bei dem Bildungsangebot zum Einkaufsassistent / zur Einkaufsassistentin handelt es sich um einen Zertifikatslehrgang der mit einer schulinternen Bescheinigung oder einem Fachverbandszertifikat schliesst, welches jedoch keine eidgenössische Anerkennung geniesst. Sollten Sie eine solche Ausbildung anstreben, so ist ein Vorbereitungslehrgang auf die Berufsprüfung zum Einkaufsfachmann / zur Einkaufsfachfrau mit eidgenössischem Fachausweis zu empfehlen.
