Craniosacral training, for example, is an attractive option. As a craniosacral therapist, you are committed to the health and well-being of people and support their healing process.

As a trained therapist, you pay attention to the entire human body and nervous system in your work and use gentle pressure techniques to dissolve any blockages. The rhythmic flow of cerebrospinal fluid plays an important role here, as it is responsible for the patient's well-being. Capturing this flow through presence, mindfulness and good perception is a skill that is developed during training.

Als eidgenössisch anerkannte Craniosacral Ausbildung gilt die Höhere Fachprüfung für KomplementärTherapeuten und Therapeutinnen für die Methode der Craniosacral Therapie.

Die meisten Schulen bieten Craniosacralausbildungen an, die von der Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Craniosacral Therapie Cranio Suisse und damit auch von den meisten Krankenkassen-Zusatzversicherungen anerkannt sind. Achten Sie bei Ihrer Suche nach dem passenden Bildungsinstitut und einer Craniosacral Ausbildung unbedingt darauf, dass Sie zudem mindestens 150 Stunden medizinisches Grundwissen absolvieren, um die Bedingungen für des ErfahrungsMedizinischen Registers EMR zu erfüllen. Diese schulmedizinische Ausbildung können Sie in der Regel direkt bei Ihrem Ausbildungsinstitut während Ihrer Craniosakral-Ausbildung absolvieren. Zudem ist die neue Höhere Fachprüfung HFP für KomplementärTherapeuten eidgenössisch anerkannt.

Die Ausrichtung Ihrer Grundbildung spielt für eine Craniosacral Ausbildung keine Rolle, von den Schulen wird jedoch in der Regel erwartet, dass Sie eine Berufsausbildung oder einen Sekundarstufe II Abschluss besitzen, ganz gleich welcher Form.

Um Ihre Craniosacral Ausbildung zu erweitern und für die Höhere Fachprüfung KomplementärTherapeut / KomplementärTherapeutin zugelassen zu werden, ist das Branchenzertifikat (BZ) KomplementärTherapeutIn der OdA KT Voraussetzung. Dieses Zertifikat können Sie im Rahmen einer Ausbildung erwerben, jedoch auch über ein Gleichwertigkeitsverfahren (GWV).

Eine Craniosacral Ausbildung erfolgt berufsbegleitend und erstreckt sich meist über mehrere Jahre, so dass eine Reduktion oder gar Kündigung Ihres Arbeitsverhältnisses nicht nötig ist.
