CAS Coaching (FH): Overview of training, schools and offers

If you are looking for further training in coaching, consulting or supervision, there are a number of extremely interesting courses and degree programs available on the Swiss education market. One of these interesting courses at postgraduate level is the CAS Coaching (FH). This course extends over a period of 3 semesters, i.e. 1.5 years, and is open to all those interested who have a higher vocational qualification (federal diploma, federal certificate or HF diploma) or a university degree. However, people with a federal certificate of proficiency who can demonstrate at least four years of professional experience and at least three years of management experience or training in a coaching-related field also have a chance of admission.

The CAS Coaching (FH) provides you with the skills you need to support others in their development, change and learning processes. During the course, you will acquire a range of intervention methods, learn everything you need to know about conducting professional discussions and further develop your psychosocial and social skills. The course is divided into three stages. The first stage, "Experience coaching yourself", shows you the effect of systemic self-coaching processes, which should lead to critical self-reflection on your part. Level two "Becoming a coach" provides you with the necessary theoretical foundations and coaching tools to help you develop your own personal coaching concept. The third stage of the CAS Coaching (FH), "Reflecting on coaching activities", expands your coaching knowledge and reflects intensively on the coaching sessions you have conducted in this stage. This level also prepares you for graduation.

This postgraduate course can be combined with the CAS in Intercultural Coaching and the CAS in Supervision and Team Coaching to form the MAS in Intercultural Coaching and Supervision. The CAS degree is recognized by the professional association SCA (Swiss Coaching Association) and will in future earn the title "company mentor with federal certificate".
