What are my career prospects as a construction manager (HFP) with a federal diploma?

You will only be admitted to the higher professional examination (HFP) to become a construction manager with a federal diploma if you have several years of experience in construction management. This means that you are already at least partially familiar with the professional environment and activities of an HFP construction manager. The federal diploma is the highest possible qualification in higher vocational education and training and, in addition to your experience, you will have in-depth knowledge of all the key areas of construction management.

You are able to plan, organize and monitor one or more construction projects in your field (building construction or civil engineering) in a planning office or independently at the same time in terms of technical, scheduling and economic aspects.

After successfully completing the higher professional examination (HFP) for construction managers, you will hold the federal diploma in your hands and thus the highest qualification in Swiss higher professional education.
