Astrologen und Astrologinnen arbeiten eng mit Menschen zusammen, die auf der Suche nach Antworten zu unterschiedlichen Lebensbereichen sind. Sie unterstützen Personen bei der Entwicklung ihrer Persönlichkeit und Kenntnisgewinnung über sich selbst. Dazu erstellen sie für jeden Klienten persönliche Geburtshoroskope oder Horoskope, die den Zeitpunkt innerhalb einer bestimmten Lebensphase widerspiegeln. Astrologische Berater deuten die Konstellation der Himmelskörper zu diesen festgelegten Zeiten und erarbeiten zusammen mit dem Klienten Lösungsansätze für ihre Probleme, Fragen und Unsicherheiten.
Sicherlich können Astrologen, wie auch andere Spezialisten ihres Fachgebietet, Aussagen zum zukünftigen Weltgeschehen treffen. Diese Zukunftsprognosen leiten sich aus den astrologischen Konstellationen zum betreffenden Hintergrund ab, etwa der Verlauf der Börse innerhalb der nächsten Wochen, der Ausgang einer Wahl oder andere wirtschaftliche, soziale oder gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen. Wie bei Trendforschern, Börsenanalytikern oder Politologen handelt es sich bei den Aussagen  der/des  Astrologen / Astrologin auch immer ausschliesslich um persönliche Ansichten und Einschätzungen, in diesem Fall aufgrund der Planetenkonstellationen und der Erfahrung auf ihrem Fachgebiet.
Sie haben im Bereich der Astrologie die Möglichkeit, sich für ganz verschiedene Arten der Ausbildung oder Weiterbildung zu entscheiden. So können Sie fundierte Grundausbildungen und Profiausbildungen absolvieren, als auch Workshops zur Weiterbildung in unterschiedlichen Spezialbereichen besuchen.
