The Center for Gerontology (ZfG) is an interdisciplinary and interfaculty competence center of the University of Zurich. It aims to network and promote research and teaching in all areas of gerontology at the University of Zurich and other university institutions in Switzerland and abroad.
The Center also aims to act as a mediator between the interests of practical work with the elderly, older people, those interested in gerontology, sponsors, business, politics and the public. In this context, the CAS course "Gerontology Today" is offered once a year to prepare specialists for mediation and planning tasks in the field of ageing.
