The aim of the School of Art goes far beyond the mere training of future artists and designers. A school not only teaches students and pupils techniques, but also encourages them to think about the world and develop their creativity in various areas.

Our university continues to promote and develop the spirit of an institution of experimentation and research. Numerous projects, exhibitions, publications, conferences and colloquia allow an interdisciplinary reading of the visual arts, in dialog with dance, theater, graphics or architecture. A special place is given to sound and all related disciplines.

In addition to the School of Art, EDHEA offers two vocational training courses (Graphic Designer EFZ / BM and BM post-EFZ) as well as two preparatory courses (Propädeutikum Kunst & Design and Fachmaturität Bildende Kunst).
Strengths: Practice-oriented studies thanks to close cooperation with recognized companies, multilingualism, full-time, part-time and part-time study options.
