SVEB training certificate for trainers: What are the main disadvantages?

After completing the SVEB training course leading to the Certificate in Instructor - Delivery of Learning Events (formerly Course Leader), you will be familiar with the theoretical principles of lesson design and have the practical experience to lead continuing education courses for adults. You will be able to create and implement curricula and prescribed concepts and use teaching materials in a targeted manner.

The most important disadvantages of an SVEB training course with a certificate for trainers - implementation of learning events are

  1. The SVEB training course with the instructor certificate - conducting learning events (formerly course instructor) does not lead to a federal qualification. However, the certificate is a partial qualification of the federal certificate for trainers.
  2. The training is only subsidized by the federal government if further modules are attended and the examination for the federal certificate is passed.
  3. The time required for preparation and follow-up work, lessons, self-study, practical experience and examinations must be planned for in the private and professional environment.
  4. Even after successfully completing the SVEB training, you will only receive the certificate if you can prove that you have completed the required 150 teaching hours (of which at least 100 with at least 3 people).

Graduates of the SVEB training course with a trainer certificate usually work part-time in adult education. They work in training and personnel departments or as course instructors at schools.
