Customer service advisor in the automotive industry with a federal certificate: For service-oriented, communicative personalities

As a customer service advisor in the automotive industry (AKB), you are the link between the company and your customers. You advise your workshop customers competently on all questions relating to service work and repairs to their vehicles and are responsible for both administrative and technical matters. Automotive customer service advisors arrange appointments for repairs or servicing, make diagnoses and plan orders.

A preparatory course that prepares you for this final examination lasts around 3 to 4 semesters, i.e. 1.5 to 2 years, and is particularly suitable for people who already have a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ). It is particularly suitable for people who already have a Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) as an automotive mechatronics technician (formerly vehicle electrician-electronics technician or car mechanic), as a retail trade specialist in automotive parts logistics, as an automotive specialist (formerly car mechanic) or also have a certificate of competence as a businessman or businesswoman.

Für Kundendienstberater im Automobilgewerbe existiert eine Weiterbildung, die sie auf die eidgenössische Berufsprüfung (BP) zum eidg. Fachausweis als Automobil-Verkaufsberater/innen vorbereitet.

Absolventinnen und Absolventen der Weiterbildung Kundendienstberater im Automobilgewerbe erlangen den Abschluss «Automobil-Verkaufsberater / Verkaufsberaterin mit eidg. Fachausweis».

Zugelassen für die BP zum Kundendienstberater im Automobilgewerbe sind Personen mit EFZ oder vergleichbarem Abschluss sowie mindestens zwei Jahre Berufserfahrung im Schweizer Automobilverkauf oder Personen ohne einen dieser Abschlüsse mit mindestens sieben Jahren Berufserfahrung in der Schweiz, davon vier im Automobilverkauf. Hinzu kommt der Abschluss aller erforderlichen Module oder ihre Gleichwertigkeitsbestätigung.

Insgesamt acht Module sind bis zur Berufsprüfung als Kundendienstberater im Automobilgewerbe zu bestehen. Diese sind:

 

  • Verkaufspsychologie und Persönlichkeitsbildung
  • Verkaufsmethodik und Verkaufskommunikation
  • Administration und Informatik
  • Rechnungswesen
  • Arbeits- und Betriebsorganisation
  • Marketing und Handel
  • Recht und Versicherung
  • Verkaufsbezogene Produktekenntnisse

Berufsbegleitend dauert die Weiterbildung zum Kundendienstberater im Automobilgewerbe zwei Semester.
