They are familiar with the legal aspects of the subject and have in-depth knowledge of the construction sector. For example, real estate valuers can classify different types of construction and materials and assess their properties. They calculate how a building can develop from an ecological and economic perspective. Graduates are also familiar with economics and business administration, for example with financial accounting or investment appraisals.
With further training to become a real estate valuer with a federal certificate, you will acquire the necessary skills to gain a professional foothold in real estate valuation. You can then go on to further training such as the higher professional examinations to become a certified fiduciary expert or certified real estate trustee. It is also possible to study part-time at a higher technical college, for example in business administration (Dipl. Betriebswirtschafter/in HF).
