Warehouse managers take on demanding management tasks and responsibility for all aspects of warehouse logistics in logistics service providers, large-scale distributors or retail and production companies. They are the first point of contact for employees from other areas of the company, for all suppliers and for customers.

Warehouse logistics specialists are responsible for the entire organization of warehouse management and plan, supervise and perfect the processes, starting with the receipt of goods through to delivery. They are therefore responsible for the entire flow of goods in their company. With regard to the procurement of goods, they are in constant communication with the purchasing department. Warehouse managers are also responsible for warehouse systems, stock levels and their optimization.

Comprehensive business knowledge, mastery of software programs and their knowledge of accounting make warehouse logistics specialists competent experts in all aspects of logistics. In addition to the numerous specialist tasks mentioned above, they are often also responsible for managing employees.
