The learning success during my training as a make-up artist was very great. My passion for the profession and my ambition certainly contributed to my learning success. At the beginning of the training, you mainly learn the basics, such as the various make-up techniques, and you receive in-depth training on the many different products and colors. Importantly, make-up artist training also includes a lot about facial anatomy. The advanced modules then build on the basic knowledge in great detail.
I made it into the well-known Faces Magazine with a piece of work I did here at school. I was also nominated for the biggest Swiss make-up artist award POFTY (Picture of the Year) with my final project. I'm very proud of this because it was my biggest goal from the very beginning. This event is of course a great achievement for me and perfect advertising. With this nomination and perhaps even with a possible win, I hope to make a name for myself in the beauty industry and to be able to push ahead with my career.
I already had a lot of opportunities to work in this profession during my training. For example, I've often been hired to do the bride's make-up and hair for weddings. I was allowed to do the models' make-up at the Christmas Fashion Show in Zurich and have been involved in various shootings and video shoots.
I already have a steady stream of new commissions as a make-up artist. At the moment I am in the middle of setting up my own business. I have found my great passion in the profession of make-up artist. I think there's nothing better than being able to style people for a big day, an important appearance or a beautiful moment. You always have lots of different jobs and the great thing is that you always come into contact with very different people.
I chose the Face Design make-up artist school in Wetzikon because it offers practical and very detailed training. For example, you are also trained in hairstyling and make-up application. In addition, the lecturers are full-time make-up artists and are therefore very experienced in the field, know the latest trends and incorporate them into their teaching. The success stories of former graduates have also clearly shown me that after completing this training, you are ready to accept and successfully carry out assignments. I can highly recommend training at the Face Design make-up artist school. I always felt very comfortable here and, thanks to the family atmosphere, I looked forward to every day at school!
From my point of view, it is very positive that the classes are deliberately kept small. This means you can benefit a lot during the lessons. The lecturers always take the time to answer any questions and also share their experience with tips and tricks.
